Healing doesn't have to mean reliving everything---It can also mean gently reshaping the way your mind holds it.

accelerated resolution therapy

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a safe, compassionate space where healing feels possible and manageable. We believe that meaningful change doesn't have to take years. Through ART, we aim to help you:

  • Experience relief from emotional distress
  • Feel more in control of your thoughts and reactions
  • Reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity and confidence
  • Move forward without being held back by the past

We are committed to meeting you where you are, honoring your pace, and supporting your goals.

Our Approach

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a brief, evidence-based approach that helps people find relief from distressing memories, anxiety, and emotional pain --often more quickly than traditional talk therapy. ART uses a combination of guided eye movements and visualization to help your brain process difficult experiences in a new way, so they no longer feel overwhelming.

Many clients describe ART as helping them "take the sting out" of painful memories without needing to relive every detail.

  • You stay in control. You won't be asked to share anything you're not comfortable sharing. ART works even if you choose not to describe your experiences out loud.
  • Focused and efficient sessions. ART targets specific issues or memories, helping many clients notice improvement in just a few sessions.
  • Mind and body integration. By using guided eye movements, ART helps your brain process stuck or overwhelming experiences in a way that feels natural and grounded.
  • Rescripting distressing memories. One unique aspect of ART is the ability to replace distressing images with more neutral or positive ones --so the memory loses its emotional intensity.

During an ART session, you'll be guided through a series of gentle eye movements while focusing on a thought, feeling or memory. Many people find the process calming and even surprising in how quickly things begin to shift. You remain fully aware and in control the entire time. There's no hypnosis, and you can stop at any point.

What Can ART Help With?

ART has been shown to be helpful for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Anxiety and panic
  • Depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Phobias
  • Stress related to life transitions
  • Disturbing or instrusive memories

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed or weighed down by past experiences, ART may offer a path forward that feels lighter and more manageable. We'd be honored to support you in exploring whether this approach fits your needs.
