Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an approach to trauma treatment that uses eye movements to desensitize and change the way distressing memories are stored in the brain. Within 1 to 5 sessions, clients have noticed a difference in their distress levels. In addition to helping with trauma, ART has also been shown to reduce stress, depression, anxiety, help with grief and addiction.

Family Therapy

When one member of the family is hurting or struggling, everyone else adapts. Sometimes these adaptations aren't sustainable in the long-term and limit other family members realizing their full potential. Other times, these well-meaning adaptations are actually sustaining the problem. We will help you identify and practice new and sustainable ways of cooperating as a family, that support the mental health of each individual.

 We also provide individual counseling for anxiety, depression and navigating change in your life. Talking through and making sense of your feelings can ease the emotional weight you carry and give you clarity. You also will learn tools for coping with uncomfortable emotions.

Child and Family Play Therapy

 Developmentally, children express themselves through play rather than words. Play helps children work through trauma and cope with difficult circumstances. Parents who engage in the healing language of play increase positive outcomes for children in therapy, and find healing they may not have known they needed for themselves.
